Eligibility
To be eligible, applicants must be Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or international students with a valid student visa for the full summer work term. They must be registered in a bachelor’s degree program at the University of Toronto, either as full-time students or, in the case of part-time students, only if it is their final session. Students must be registered at the time of application or in the term immediately preceding the award. Graduating students can hold the award in the term following their graduation, as long as they have not started a graduate program. A cumulative average of “B+” or higher is required, which can be based on the best two years of study for upper-year students. Those who already hold a bachelor’s degree and are pursuing a second bachelor’s degree in NSE, SSH, or HLS are also eligible.
