Eligibility
The 2025 Summer Studentship Program is open to undergraduate and medical students who wish to conduct research under the supervision of a CBR or LSI Principal Investigator, Research Associate, or Postdoctoral Fellow during the summer (May to August). Projects typically last 16 weeks, with shorter periods available for medical students. Students must commit to 35 hours per week and may engage in research across basic science, clinical research, or science education/communication. All students must adhere to workplace COVID-19 safety policies and participate in CBR/LSI events, including Research Day. Participants are required to submit a report and complete an end-of-program survey. Students cannot hold both a CBR Summer Studentship and other funding (e.g., NSERC URSA) during the program.
