Training a New Generation of Researchers in Gastroenterology and Liver (Triangle) Undergraduate Research Scholarship

Eligibility

The award is open to all Canadian researchers, from new investigators to senior scientists, at Canadian academic institutions or health research institutes, provided their research focuses on gastrointestinal or liver topics. Summer students supported by this grant must be enrolled as undergraduate or medical students at a Canadian university, either in the term immediately before or after their CONNECT studentship, and must be eligible to work full-time on or off campus. Additionally, they must meet the in-person requirements of the host institution. The award must be held at a Canadian academic institution or health research institute, and both the student and faculty or supervisor must be Canadian citizens or permanent residents of Canada. All research projects must focus on gastrointestinal or liver research.
