Toronto General Hospital Multi-Organ Transplant Student Research Training Program

Eligibility

This pioneering and comprehensive training program for undergraduate/medical/graduate students consists of formal seminars, discussion forums, and direct health/research experience. It provides an opportunity for students to gain an understanding of clinical research and to apply their knowledge from research-related tasks to the field of transplantation and overall patient care. Over the course of their placement, students are introduced to various sub- disciplines that have directly impact transplant care, including: • Basic sciences • Bioethics • Clinical and outcomes research • Health economics • Clinical epidemiology and Biostatistics • Clinical and Hospital OR observation sessions
