SALT Rescue is like many other organizations, striving to reduce pet overpopulation by providing medical care, nutrition, and loving forever homes for animals in need. They also educate the public on the importance of spaying/neutering, vaccinations, and microchipping. SALT Rescue is committed to making a difference in every animal’s life they encounter.
Opportunities at Salt Rescue
- DriversAssist with transporting animals to and from vet appointments (all vets in London) and adoption events. Volunteers are required to have a car.
- Foster home supportBring medicines & supplies to foster homes. Volunteers are required to have a car.
- FundraisingAssist with monthly fundraising events such as online auctions, raffles, and more.
- PetSmart Adoption HelpersShowing interested adopters the cats we have available and facilitating the paperwork during our weekend adopt-a-thons. Being a friendly face and voice on behalf of SALT. Training will be provided.
- PetSmart Cat CaretakersCleaning, feeding, and snuggling our cats available for adoption at London PetSmart locations in the mornings before the store opens. You will be trained by another volunteer.
