Western Daycare Center

Fifty years ago, the Society of Graduate Students at the University of Western Ontario established the Western Day Care Centre to address the need for nearby childcare. Operating as a non-profit childcare center since February 1972, it began in homes donated by the University at 1140 Western Road. Their mission is to foster children's well-being by offering optimal conditions for growth, learning, and development.
