All children and youth grow and thrive in their families, cultures, and communities. We work collaboratively with families and communities to promote the safe and healthy development of children and youth. The Society’s mission, purpose, goals and objectives have evolved over 125 years, however what has remained from the original constitution of 1893 is a steadfast commitment to the safety and well-being of children, youth and families.
