Operation Walk Canada

Teams of healthcare professionals and support personnel undertake annual medical mission trips to Cuenca, Ecuador, and La Antigua Guatemala. These missions focus on providing life-changing hip and knee replacement surgeries that alleviate pain and restore mobility. The patients, referred by host country orthopedic surgeons, undergo initial assessments and screenings. Mission trips last about a week, with in-country and Operation Walk medical professionals collaborating to ensure quality care. These efforts aim to address the inaccessibility of costly orthopedic surgeries in developing countries and help patients regain active and pain-free lives.
