Please note that Volunteers must be 18 yrs and over, with the exception of students 14 yrs and up registered in our Student Volunteer Program. For more information on the Student Volunteer Program, please contact our Volunteer Coordinator at volunteer@kingstonhumanesociety.ca and fill out an application form, found on the student volunteers tab. Please note: Children under the age of 14 are not eligible to volunteer at the shelter, however, we encourage them to help us out by creating posters showing proper pet care which we will gladly display around the shelter, or they can organize their own fundraisers or donation drives.
