Position description:
- The kitchen helper assists in the kitchen of Lunch by George by e.g. making salads, portioning desserts, washing dishes, and serving meals to clients. Volunteers are asked to commit to one shift a week but may volunteer as many days in a week as they prefer. Volunteers are under the guidance of, and report to the Program Coordinator and/or Kitchen Assistant. Volunteers do not have to interact with the clients if they prefer not to. Volunteer shifts are available M-F, from 8:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. We are closed Saturday and Sunday.
